CAAM’s newest initiative under the baton of Nathan Lange will premiere new choral works commissioned for the ensemble at the Columbia Civic Orchestra’s annual new music concert, which features the winners of the Missouri Composers Orchestra Project from 2020 and 2022.

A Little Night Music: An Evening of Sondheim

Join the Columbia Chorale and the University of Missouri Department of Theatre for a night of show stopping music to honor the musical legacy of prolific American composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim.

You Can't Stop the Beat

Sunday, May 7 at 4:30 p.m.

The act of making music extends beyond the choir, as percussion and voice unite in this dynamic final concert of the CYC season. Featuring all CYC choirs and a special guest drumline, we invite you to clap your hands, stomp your feet, and join the rhythmic fun that can’t be beat!
