- “Lift Every Voice” took place on October 5 featuring Ernest Harrison, Music Director and Conductor of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles. Ernest led a discussion of the heritage of spirituals as protest songs, as well as the history and importance of “Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing” within the choral tradition and larger U.S. cultural conversation.
- Special guest Alex Innecco, discussed ways that music can bring the world together in times when a pandemic is just one of humankind’s problems. Innecco has created, sustained, and grown ECAI, a center for the arts in Brasilia Brazil, to reach thousands of fans and subscribers since 2011.
