BEDTIME STORIES: SONGS OF SLEEP AND DREAMS

Drift into a magical world of lullabies, dreams, and storybook favorites as Columbia Youth Choirs presents an enchanting evening of music inspired by bedtime stories and nighttime adventures. Featured on this concert are returning special guests, Artemisia, a Chicago-based vocal trio that harnesses the power of the female voice to tell stories through the vocal traditions of the world—making them the perfect companions for this journey through musical tales. From traditional cradle songs to contemporary settings of beloved children's literature, young singers, alongside these masterful storytellers, will transport audiences through a dreamy landscape of musical narratives

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS: A Missouri Christmas presented by Shelter Insurance a collaboration between Missouri Symphony & Columbia Chorale

Continuing MOSY’s holiday tradition for the whole family, this year, we are going to revisit the most beloved tunes of the cozy mid-century. Imagine the smooth jazz, the post-war optimistic pop, and early rock all join together to tell the stories of a Christmas in white, a rocking Jingle Bell, and a definitely felizmente navidad, as the Columbia Chorale joins the Missouri Symphony again in all its choral glory!

Opera Aria Competition

Choral Arts Alliance of Missouri is pleased to announce the return of the Opera Arias Competition! And this time, we have multiple categories! CAAM will select one winner from each of the major universities in the area, one high school winner, and two winners from our new Open Category (ages 19-59 and 60+). Each winner will be a featured soloist on the May 9th CAAM "Opera in Concert" performance, and will additionally receive: a $150 cash prize, a free coaching on their aria, a professional headshot, and two complimentary tickets to the concert.
